It’s my BIRTHDAY WEEK!

Call it a perk of being an only child… Growing up, in my house, we had Birthday Week.

It was a special week… Every morning my Mom would have a little present waiting for me when I woke up.

On my actual birthday, my parents let me stay home from school so I could spend the day with Nana and Papa, who always came to town for a visit.

My Daddy would bake and decorate my cake every year. He made some really awesome designs over the years… palm trees, tropical fish, the Florida Gators logo and even this colorful creation...

Oh, what I wouldn't give to have a time machine and go back to those days!

Instead, I’ve got a busy week of work ahead—coaching clients, leading marketing brainstorming sessions and getting ready to launch something new to help people get hired in this market.
